Pastor Forced to Stop Worship Services in Home

Muslim Mob Storms Church Calling For Ban on Religious Services

On Sunday (August 17) Muslim mob stormed church service Cipayung, East Jakarta, forcing Christians flee erecting banners street declaring ban “churches religious services.”

As 20 church celebrating nation’s Independence Day service, angry assailants arrived Pentecostal Church Indonesia Pondok Rangon village, Cipayung, 9:30 a.m. shouting “Allahu Akbar!” “God greater!” Se mob neighbors, majority local residents, according pastor Chris Ambessa.

Church tried close gate leading io church compound, mob forced in, storming welcoming church overturning furniture.

Ambessa managed close roller door protecting services held. attackers chased church street, warning tm return future services.
