Muslim Mob in Pakistan Wounds Christian Family

ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN (ANS) — Compass Direct News has revealed that a Muslim mob in Pakistan has attacked and wounded a Christian family in Iqbal Town, Islamabad.

“Infuriated by an alleged anti-Islamic comment by a mentally ill man, more than a dozen Muslims attacked his Christian family here last week, beating his 20-year-old sister unconscious and breaking her leg,” said the Compass story.

“The woman’s father, Aleem Mansoor, said his daughter Elishba Aleem ‘went unconscious’ after being struck in the head with an iron rod in the December 28, 2009, attack.” Read the rest of this entry »

Indian believer jailed for ‘crime’ of praying for a friend in hospital and getting beaten up

KARNATAKA, INDIA (ANS) — In another bizarre police interpretation of Indian law, a Christian believer who went to pray for his sick friend at a local hospital, and was then beaten up by a Hindu radical, has been charged for this terrible “crime”.

Pastor and wife attacked by Hindu radicals in Karnataka state, India

KARNATAKA, INDIA (ANS) — A pastor and his wife were brutally attacked and beaten up by a group of Hindu radicals at Mysore in Karnataka state, India, on Monday, December 14.

According to the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), the attack took place when a group of 10-15 men allegedly belonging to a Hindu radical group. Bajrang Dal, barged into the house of Pastor H.T. Manjunath (26) and began insulted him and his wife Saraswati (24) and then falsely accused them of forced conversion. Read the rest of this entry »
