Drunken radical Hindu youths attack prayer meeting and injure the attendees in Andhra Pradesh, India

ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA ANS - According to a report from www.persecution.in, a group of drunken youths belonging to Hindu radical groups attacked on a prayer meeting conducted at a believer’s home at Andhra Pradesh on June 22.
The website reported that on June 22 at about 9 pm in a place called Rangadampally Centre, a Prayer meeting was under way, conducted by Pastor Manikyam Rao. It was on the occasion of the birthday of the daughter of a church believer named Mr. Mallesham.
In the prayer meeting there were about 10 persons who had gathered. The meeting started at 7 pm and went on till 9 pm.
According to the news source, as the final prayer was going on, four drunken RSS youth, later joined by about 20 others, barged into the house where the prayer meeting was held and started shouting at the gathering and interrupting the prayer service.
The site reported that the activists started to kick the believers and poured beer on them and insulted them badly. It was also reported by the website that the drunken radicals demanded that the meeting be closed and that they should not continue their Christian activities or they would face dire consequences.
According to the site, ladies namely K. Andalamma 30 M. Lakshmi 35, and Eshwari, also Pastor Kanakayya, were injured in the attack which went on for about 30 minutes after which the gang left.
Later the affected informed the police and a complaint was lodged at the nearby Siddipet police station on the next day June 23.
