Young Believers attacked in West Bengal state, India

WEST BENGAL, INDIA – Hindu radicals belonging to a group called Rashtriya Swayam Sevak RSS attacked two believers at Amtala village near Kolkota Calcutta in West Bengal on Thursday, August 20.
According to a story carried on — www.christiancouncil.in — around eight Hindu radicals attacked two young Christians at Amtala alleging conversion activities at the village.
The website also reported that the culprits forcibly collected signatures from all the villagers against these two believers of false conversion charges and filed a complaint against them at the local police station.
The All India Christian Council aicc has condemned the attack on the believers. The website said that the Council has taken up the issue with the concerned authorities and are seeking to action against the attackers.
