Hampton council votes to rename roadway — currently named after confederate general — to honor Neil

  1. This change is utter nonsense! You DON'T change history – there, I'll say it. Those who strive to change history are doomed to repeat it. $40,000-$50,000 to change a name of a highway when people are homeless, and living under bridges. Yeah, "right idea". I pray Jesus comes soon. People are out of control more every day, always trying harder to control others with their PC nonsense.

  2. You never knew he was a Confederate soldier? Didn't have a problem with it then until you took a history lesson and got offended by it. Jeez
The whole commonwealth is turning into Seattle.

  3. People who are about changing names of streets and removing statues should be the only ones paying for it.
I'm for putting more statues and posters up about our historical past because so many are just plain ignorant of so much of it. Just so long as the propaganda is kept out of it. No place for ignorance in our government and the people the government serves.

  4. We need to take down every statue and rename every street with the name Martin Luther King because he was an adulterer and an academic fraud. But of course our ridiculous democrat politicians won't do that because they only hat e wh ite people and like pandering to the low IQ morons who vote for them to keep the handouts coming…..
