  1. Using only A D and E chord i can play this on the guitar! When i finally got it right i screamed my lungs out!! I love beatles

  2. hey, friends, I discovered one thing about George Harrison,

    it is this:

  4. This is my favorite performance of "Twist And Shout." Their early live performances were always better than the records performed in studio.

  5. when I was a child at the end of the sixties, I remember my mother yelling to me:
"Go brush your hair! You look like a Beatle!"

  6. Does anyone know if they used the prompts to the audience to applause, scream or whatever for these performances? Surely that explains as much of the screaming as anything when they get to the "whoooo…." parts and the girls go bananas.

  7. This has to be one of my favorite live performances ever. Not very flashy but the excitement of the Beatles and the audience, combine with this amazing song, and create a 3 minute masterpiece.

  8. For the longest time, I had no clue that this was a cover song, guess it just fit their style so well that I never noticed

  9. Cant believe it was 56 years since they got introduced on the ed Sullivan show my how much is after changeing in music. The beatles are everything to me and I'm so happy this happend in history.

  10. Seeing The Beatles for the first time on Ed Sullivan must have been like the first time I saw the Smells Like Teen Spirit video by Nirvana. Up until then I'd never heard anything like it, and I knew it was a game changer.

  11. Boi ik you guys are talking about the girl at 1:40 but bruhh check out 1:40 the guy at thw back of the girl looks like billy shears

  12. "Live" is a bit misleading: they performed it in front of an audience as seen, but it was aired on Ed Sullivan two weeks later, taped, after the Beatles had returned to the UK. They actually did this BEFORE their truly live broadcast of Feb 9 64.

  13. Everyone makes fun of the screaming girls but I'm pretty sure I would have been doing the same thing, if in a lower pitch.
